The object of the Gosport Music Festival is to advance the education of the public in the Arts, in particular the Arts of Dance, Music Speech and Drama in all their branches.
The purpose is for amateurs to receive the judgement of professionals and gain from the benefit of seeing others taking part and to develop their confidence before both critical and appreciative audience.
The aim is to raise the standard of amateur performance and further public recognition.
The Festival is managed by volunteers who all have a strong belief in the educational and social value that the competition provides.
